does n e body feed their bait??? i do i feed mine goldfish flakes or lil fish pellets...

ONLY IF I HAVE THEM FOR AWHILE.. AND I'LL FEED THEM BREAD OR GOLD FISH FLAKES ALSO.

yea im with geezer i will feed mine if i have them for a while but if i only have them for a couple of days i dont mess with them

i feed my bait gold fish flakes keeps them alive and healther longer but it sure makes keeping the water clean a lot harder ,.then i feed them to any thing that will bight them lol.

I usually don't have my bait for a long time. I try to catch my bait about two days before i go. And after i go fishing i put what is left over in my pond.

I usually feed mine as well all my left over bait stays in my tank and goes the next week I fish every weekend during the prime season I will feed them baby shrimp and flakes as well and actually I have one surviving yellow belly from my last trip in october he is about eight inches now started at about three

can you use city water for your bait tanks or does it have to be pond water i was just wondering because of all the stuff that's in city water and i heard if you let is sit for a day or so it's ok but just wanted to check with you guys to see thanks

sometimes I use city water but you have to dechlorinate it with bait saver or chlor out that is used in aquariums

I use city water here where i live works for me. As far as feeding my bait I aways have a tank full of Yellow bellies. I catch 75 or 100 of them every week and I just go down to the bait store and buy 4 doz. small minnows for $1.00 They go nuts when I drop them in the tank. They are gone in no time.

i do as well city water, however i do put in some start right tabs and algee tabs i get from wal-mart, it help stablize the water and keeps the bait good and healthy.. i put 4 of each tab in my 45 gal. tank i use..
