favorite reel has to be the pro rocket also have a couple c3's and a 7000 tc with the power crank

My favorite reel is the abu garcia 6601 c4. I own 2 of them and they work great.

My favorite and only reels that I use are the Quantum Big Iron Series......I have the IR430 and two IR330.....these reels have handle plenty of abuse and are still going strong, no problems whatsoever and there about 4-5 years old.

anyone have a OKUMA reel??? my brother has one, i like okuma's spinning reels but the baitcasting reels have very quiet clickers. its hard to beat abu garcia. i have 2 rockets, the best reel i've used so far

i got a pair of OKUMA CONVECTOR CN 15 C
only bad thing is no line Gide on these reels
but man can they cast..

I DONT SEE THE ROCKET ON THE ABU WEBSITE. AND ITS NOT ON BASS PROS WEBSITE AND DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHY THAT IS AND WHERE IS A GOOD PLACE AND CHEAP PLACE TO GET ONE CAUSE I COUDLNT GET IT AT DICKS AND I REALY DONT LIKE BUYING THINGS ONLINE. IF SOMETHING GOS WRONG IT IS SO HARD TO RETURN IT. IF YOU GET SOMETHING FROM DICKS IN MASON THEY DONT ASK QUESTIONS AT ALL. THEY HAVE GOOD RETURN POLICY

Binkdude, you can get the rockets at cast away or cedar lake along with many other places. Bass pro will not carry them for some reason. I think they will run you 129.99 about anywhere you go. I have 2 of the 6500 rockets and love them, 2 6500 C3 along with a 6500 C3 trophy collection reel.

thanks next time i go up to cedar i think im gonna pick me up one and try it out sence everyone says they are so good. i use the 6500 c3 but you can never have enough fishing stuff. my ole lady will never understand

Bass Pro Shops, Dicks, Cabela,s Walmart or any other Chain store are not allowed to carry International reels. Abu Garcia has an International Program that we buy from. perhaps my favorite reel is my 6500 c4 mag with a power handle on it....SWEET!!!....great casting distance, good clicker, and holds quite a bit of line.....but best of all is its upgraded drag system...pure wenching power!!! dont use anything but abu garcias from 5000c-10000 big game cant go wrong with an abu

I bought a orange abu 6600 pro rocket from walmart in forest park by cincy mills for 80 bucks.. they have a nice selection of reels...

i went to calcuttas last year and couldnt get em off my pole fast enuff , back to c3s ! the new real abu made i think its called the record reel or something , ill look it up and link some pics, but i buddy of mine showed me one in a book he has and it looks really sweet, edit for the link www.abugarcia.com/prod.php?k=50134&sk=46555&p=PURRCN40 6 bearings in those puppies ill be picking 3 up this year most likely |
