I use GAMAKATSU OCTOPUS Circle, bait stays on better and so does a hooked fish. Only con is it's hard to get them out of a hooked fish. yes once they are hooked they are hooked, and those hooks hold on to the smallest peice of meat in there mouths.

Ussually 7's or 8's, what ever the bait shop or wal-mart has available. I don't want to spend $30 in gas to get to bass pro just for some hooks and glo sticks.

I use the Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap for Blues. We use a 2/0 red hook. My son caught a 69 lb Blue out of our lake on this hook and they are hold up fro as small as they are.

I use Gamakatsu 4/0 octopus hooks. Never realy had any problems with them. I have some of those wide gap's maybe i will try them again. I think 8/0 is way to big. I nevery use anything other than 4/0 but that is just me.

Iv tried these hooks before and missed a couple of fish. On the way home i throw all of them out of the window. Seems like they would be good for leeches though.

i use a 8/0 gama octopus circle and have no problems with them . once the hook gets in em its pretty hard for em to come off.. best way i found to get the hook out is if you have a swivel with a clip for the hook. undo the clip take the hook off and pull the hook through. its goes right through an out with no problem.
