what do you guys use, i personally use a puma. i have had this filet knife now for almost 4 years and i love it. its holds an edge like no other. the price wasnt so bad for a puma either i gave i believe close to 40.00 bucks for it. they seem have gone down in price as well. here is a link and a pic of it www.knifecenter.com/knifecenter/puma/images/182002.gif

I dont eat fish, i just catch them. The only fish that i will eat is tuna and that is it.

i use my filet for cutting bait and things along that line.

OK well in that case i just use one of my pocket knives or a pair of surgeons scissors. But i do plan on getting a small fillet knife for cutting my bait.

i had a good pair of those surgical scissors, and lost them. next trip to the hospital ill get me a new pair

Finally got me a fillet knife. Got it at Bass pro. Its made by Browning, only $10 so not bad. It will defiantly get the job done when it comes to cutting up bait.

I just buy on of those cheap walmart ones and throw it away when it goes bad.....i usually go through two a season i dont eat that much fish.

a good filet can make your trip when coming to filet those shad or skip jack. need a good edged and very sharp knife
