MYSELF I LIKE TO FISH DAY BECAUSE IF I FISH AT NIGHT, BY 1AM I HAD TO MUCH TO DRINK AND FALL ASLEEP AND THE REST IS HISTORY. NOW WHEN I GOAWAY IT'S A LITTLE DIFFERNT TAKES MORE MONEY FOR GAS AND BAIT SO I DON'T DRINK AS MUCH COCKTAIL.
AND A LOT OF YOU CATFISHMEN KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE TO MANY COCKTAIL'S AT KNIGHT WHO KNOW'S WHERE YOUR BAIT WILL END UP.

I would rather fish during the night, get to the lake right before the sun goes down, and leave when the sun comes up. Might be just me, but there is alot less wind at night. I also like to see my big bait pull my glo stick around the lake. During the daytime the bait seems a lil less active with a hook through it. I also like how quite it gets. Then when you hear a clicker take off it's funny to see everyone get up and stretch and check thier bait or grab another beer.............. Beer tastes better at night . And there are a lot less lil brats running around being loud at night. Don't get me wrong I'm a dad myself but, some parents just don't know how to keep there kids under control. My son is only 2yrs old and you will see him sitting beside me at few lakes this year.

day fishing for me......can't stay awake past midnight.....old age according to my teenage daughter........tried night fishing at Cedar Lake last year.....just my luck - I picked a night with a few rude fishermen - loud music, lanterns shining in your eyes, and bobbers flying everywhere..... the owners of Cedar came to the rescue.

I prefer to night fish. I like listening to all the night sounds. I also work nights, so I usually don't have a problem staying awake. Plus, i seem to better at night than during the day. I only drank one time at a paylake and got so paranoid that my stuff was gonna get sucked in. I haven't since, lol.
