Hey guys i am looking for a catfish rod for my 14 year old cousin. He already has a reel we just need a rod now. He lost an eye out of his old one. If any of you guys have one that i could get for a little of nothing please let me know.

Are you looking for casting or spinning and what size? There used to be a place called 'Steve's Custom Rods' in Mason and the guy would put an eye on for $5. I had him put two eyes on an ugly stick and you can't tell what was factory and what he did. He hangs out at Cozy-Dale sometimes and still does rod work on the side (last I talked to him was a year ago or more). I do have a 7' and 10' spinning rod.

Oh sorry forgot to mention that i am looking for a bait-casting rod. A 10 or 11 footer would be good.

There is a little store in South Lebanon called 'Bowmans'. They sell a 10' casting rod called a Glowsitx made by Pac Hawk. It looks dead on a Premier Nite Stick and they sell them for $25.

Yea i need some new equipment here.....i sold my 6500 and ugly stik...and there is something wrong with my other one on my whuppin stik....So for now i have a 6000 on an uglystik(love that set up)...and a abu 5000 on some shakespears 8ft rod.....and that penn spinning reel that needs a rod bc my rod got broke at a pay lake last year from a kid running and not paying attention and tripped over it and broke it.......but maybe i can get a new setup to try at the tourney...maybe another 6000 bc i like them with glowstik

is anyone sellin any baitcaster rod and reel combo layin around they wanna sell for kinda cheap i jus bought one recently and i love it i used to use spinning combos but i think its easier to troll with the baithcasters and i do alot of that.... o and im lookin for one bout 10-12 foot......

i cant cast it $70
Daiwa trolling rod and reel combo. The rod is a heavy 9' 6", 12-30 Ib test. Model no. HL-S962HS-G and the reel is a Daiwa ACCUDEPTH 47LC line-counter reel that holds; 590 yds. 14 Ib test, 300 yds. 20 Ib test and 250 yds. 25 Ib test line. The reel is filled with 12 Ib test line and the combo is in excellent condition.
only $70 or 2 used 6500 that work....even 2-6000

try this.. i didnt like it...used box to start fire has 30# line on it...
Shakespear Tidewater TW30LB NEW out of BOX. Great for trolling, bottom fishing and other big water applications. Has stainless steel components, othersized drag system and a lightweight graphite frame

Well i was able to fix my cousins rod. Bought a new tip for it from bass pro. Should work like new.
