Does anyone use them? Are they worth the money?
We are a St Croix dealer and just got in a few of the Premier Surf Rods. They are $260.00 and $240.00 each. I love these rods but wanted to know your thoughts on them.

What kind of warranty do they have? If I ran over one with my truck, I would want a guarantee that it wouldn't break for that price. Also, do they have serial numbers (insurance purposes). I'm a firm believer in buying good gear, but thats quite an investment.

These rods have a 5 year warranty and are very light in weight. They do not have a serial number. St Croix's warranty is a great company to deal with since they are located in the USA and there rods are made in the USA as well.

Cant get over the price of those rods. Don't think you need to go that far in a price range to get some thing good and works just as good or even better.. One thing i can say good about this rod is the handles are awesome.

I want a St. Croix surf rod really bad and will have one one day. My bests friends dad had a a few of these rods and i have loved them ever since then. I was actually looking at the triumph on the your website. They have a better price but how do they compare to the Premier?

The Triumph rod only comes in spinning rods. The Triumph rod is great for the money. I have been using the Avid rods and love them. They are about $240.00 each. I had a demo rod in here for $149.99 each and they had a 1 year warranty with them. Only lasted in our store for 2 days. I want a St. Croix surf rod really bad and will have one one day.
