No i dont think they would work to good. They might hide on the wrong side of your float when it is out in the lake.

ive tried them and they dont work well. if you have heavy bait or your rig isnt set up perfect they will not work! you need to tape a good portion or they will come off and when you do that you cant see it that well. greg is right there have been times i couldnt see them when the bobber turned! dont waste your money!

i take the little ones like that and tape them on my staw instead on my float, you can see them good that way. at the bottom of the staw where it touchs the float.

yeah i agree, when you tape it to your float the bait sometime get rapped around the glow stick, and it tend to start helocoptering as well on long cast's, it dont do that when you tape it to your straw like that.. and also you dont have to worry about the float turning on you and cant see it.. The glow stick is always showing the staw turns to where the glow stick is on bottom at all times. I know you know this but just letting the others that dont, know.. My uncle showed that to me yrs. ago. He was one of the best Big fish fisherman that i hae ever saw. I dont care if there is only one fish in that lake he was the one that would catch it. He has passed one now about 15 yrs ago or so. But he was, I CAN SO A PRO CATFISHERMAN.

last season i used the small 1.5 glow sticks. i got 100 for 14 bucks on ebay from HONG KONG. i would use at least 2 at a time. i never had a problem seeing them. if you buy glow sticks from walmart they come with a rubber band glow stick holder that you slip on before you set up your floats. they hold the 3 inch and 1.5 inch. they work excellent and only cover a small part of the stick in the middle section so you can pretty much see the whole entire glow stick. i am going to find some more for this season.. they are alot cheaper and work just as well.
