if you like casting alot of weight under your float i use the lindy non weighted pole float 12'' i think it's over 2 ounces to balance it out at least

yeah me too seth , if you fish beaver i might see you there , i started fishing it this spring w/ my new neighbor and his friend and been knocking the crap outta channels , and i caught a 31 lb flathead there couple of weekends ago, so its closer than all the other ones from me and i catch fish, it ain't paradise but its close

Don't have any pictures but i use a set up that will cast very far and is strong. I use this set up for my trolling rod. St Croix reel on a 10'6" Tica Dolphin UGSA surf rod. 20 lb test Sufix line 2 rubber bobber stops 1 plastic bead 12" WBC float 1 rubber bead (protects line and sinker) 1 1/4 oz sinker 1 owner soft bead (protcts line and knot) spro swivel 10" of 30 lb fluorocarbon leader 3/0 owner hook This makes a very nice set up. i would use 25 or 30 lb line if you are fishing with big bait or fishing structure in the water. The 20 lb test line cast farther. Seivelkes. the soft rubber bead sounds smart...get them at bass pro???
