just wanting some opinions on them. i personally dont use them that much unless im using a big bait.

i use them but sometime they do get into the way, but yeah i deff. use them when im useing big bait, which is most of the time LOL..

yea i thnk u shouldnt use them if u troll alot though i jus strd trollin so yea i wouldnt use straw wat i do is put straw on the pole im nt trollin wit an go strawless wit the pole im usin

i personally like straws when i troll because if you bump a rock on the bottom your float goes down but not the straw usually so when the float goes down i wait for the straw to go down after it so i know its a fish.

yeah but not all fish will take the straw down, ive caught alot that just hold it down (float) and never take the straw down at all..

yea that has happend to me alot so i just dont use them like i said i think it a waste of line/space/time,unless im throwing big bait.

i use them all the time i love them, if i dont use them my line is always gettin tangled up and i hate that..!!!!

i think its a good ideal to use straws when your using live bait.cut bait,you dont need a straw.

Seems like every time I take mine off my line gettes tangled all to heck, so yea I use them all the time, I trim them down alot, but I usally use a longer one on Big Bait.

i only use them when i use live bait. but for cut bait and trolling you dont need them

i use them all the time, as u get older the eyes seem to not be as sharp, i paint my straws bright yello, or orange, they are a lot easier to see in daylight. i fish them with dead or live bait, also work good trolling
