has anyone used this reel? im tryin to decide if it is worth it to spend some extra money on one of these or just get another 6500 c3???  |

yea i know a buddy that loves his i think there sweet they have 6 ball bearings were the c3's only have 3 but they are real smooth i just dont like the big handels it looks like you could pull a jeep out of a ditch with that thing but ethier way they are nice

yeah the one i was lookin at at afields didnt have the big power handle on it... i dont like them either... kinda get in the way.

I bought 1 last year, reel smooth and casts nice. I got the smaller handle from castaway this
spring. big one gets in the way.

I have one that i mainly use to striper fish with. Love the reel, it's super smooth casting, but the one i have has the small line capacity and I have thrown all the line right off of it. Still, it is a nice reel.

does anyone use abu 6000 with clicker i have 2 of them and 1 6500-c3 and i like the 6000 better they cast farther and smother what is the difference in them bearings or does the c3 have better drag system.

the C ser.. have the bearings and the others( 5000,6000) have the bushing, the bearing are better but either one is a good reel.. you can get the bearings for the 5000,6000 and then they cast real good.. my step dad got some off of well the auction site and (bearings) and it made the 7000's (green ones) cast real nice and got a lot more diss. out of them as well..

the records have 4 ball bearings,I have 2 of them, and thy are smooth.flatheadsteve get with rob at beaver lake,and he will give you a good deal on them.

I GOT 2 OF EM AND LOVE THEM GOT THE ONE WITH THE BIG HANDLES BUT I WAS ALREADY USED TO USING THESE BECAUSE I HAVE 2 7000'S ALSO... THE RECORDS IN MY OPINION ARE WELL WORTH IT...
