WITCH FISH BLUE OR SHOVEL AND WHY

i my self have caught a blue and a shovel over 70# AND IM GONNA HAVE TO SAY THE SHOVEL FOUGHT BETTER. BUT ANY fish is good enough for me

i agree with nodinksplease the shovel has alot better fight, the blues come to the top and start rolling alot of time, not always and the shovels stay on the bottom and if you hool a big one it can be one of the best fight's you came have

I prefer shovels, blues tend to swim at you and really don't put up a fight until they get closer to the bank. shovels are more of a challenge on the hook set. as mentioned already the shovels stay deep until you get their head up.

I like catching blues better if they are caught in deeper water. I like Flatheads in shallower lakes or when the water gets warmer.

It does not matter to me as long as the fish puts up a fight and i get money for it.

I am going to have to go with shovels because, as already mentioned, they seem to fight allot better. Plus i like using live bait that moves around allot, and shovels seem to hit live more often than not.
