espn's mock draft garbage has the bengals taking a defensive end out of arkansas in the first round. If they do that after locking up Gathers and tagging Smith I'm not going to be very excited. They have much larger needs.

My dream Bengals draft Round One - Calvin Johnson - WR Round Two - Gaines Adams - DE Round Four - Joe Thomas - OT Round Five - Amobi Okoye - DT Round Six - LeRon Landry - S Round Seven a - Adrian Peterson - RB Round Seven b - Ted Ginn Jr - WR
OK, that was a joke (most of those guys are top ten picks)
What I would like to happen, with players that may be available:
Round One - Darrelle Revis - CB Revis was a shutdown corner at Pitt, teams rarely throw his way. Is also a very effective return man. Would play nickle corner and punt returner and eventually replace Deltha. (I wouldn't mind Beason or Posluszny here to improve the LB core) Round Two - Eric Weddle - S Weddle was one of the most versatile players in college last year. An all American, he mostly played corner and safety, but also threw for a touchdown and rushed for several more on offense (ling up at QB). Great special teamer that can hold on kicks and do fake plays. Would replace and be an instant upgrade over kaesviahrne (sp?). This guy is one heck of an athlete, an excellent football player and is my favorite guy in the draft. Round Four - Paul Soliai - DT Massive (6-4, 340) run stopper. Would add depth to the DL and replace Sam Adams as a two down player his second season. Also of note, would add another Samoan to join Fanane and Peko on the DL. Round Five - DeShawn Wynn - RB Big bruising back (5-10, 238) that is fast (4.47 40). Not used much at Florida due to the spread offense. Change of pace back to spell Rudi as Chris Perry is always hurt. Hopefully would replace the pedestrian Rudi in a year or two. Round Six - Chris Leak - QB National Championship winning QB at Florida. Lacks ideal size and arm strength, but could develop into a good game manager and second string QB of the future. Round Seven a - Tully Janszen - Long Snapper Bye bye Brad St. Louis, you lost the Denver game. Round Seven b - Andrew Shanle, Nebraska - S This guy is drafted for special teams. Excellent gunner at Nebraska and teams up with Ethan Kilmer as a gunner on punt returns. Also of note, this guy ran a 4.4 forty and had four interceptions last year.
