OK, I drove by this place at work and stopped in to check it out. There are probably ten lakes here. The guy said that they stock three of them with shovels and blues. I had never heard of it before but it looked like a nice facility, very big place. Its on Greenbush Road, west of 503, outside of West Elkton.

I used to fish this lake alot, it used to be called Pete's and before that it was Hadex (i think thats how you spell his last name) but there are some reel nice fish in it. Its just getting them to hit.. There is one in what that call the hatchery lake (behind bait shop) i step dad hit one in there one day, when he hit it it had a boil as big as a truck bed and when it came up just for a sec.. it had a head on it about 2 ft. wide.. (no joke). Ther post on my uncl sight how many they put in.. Mike knows the sight im talking about.. Not sure if its ok or not to post it on here or not, but he is a member as well on here he is in the member list on ronthesleeper..But there is some really good fish in them lakes..

It used to be a great lake when Carl was still alive. He kept the place nice and clean. And you never saw any weeds or moss growing in the lakes. Now the hatchery lake has quite a bit of moss growing in it. I don't go there anymore.

Went to Wild Bill's on 8/18 and fished from about 5p-3a. Our first hit didn't come until about 9:30p and then tapered off about 2. The biggest was maybe a 5lb channel.
Between and buddy and me we caught 6 channel cats. We were fishing with Israeli carp. We were hoping for something bigger, but the guy at the bait shop said catching the big ones was slow. Next week we are going to try some wheaties and soft crawls.
Gonna give it another try this Saturday and hope for either more fish or bigger fish.
The only complaint I have is that there was a group of ~10 guys, (only 1 or 2 of which were fishing) blowing stuff up in a burn barrel behind us at one of the smaller ponds. I got the impression that it was the norm at this lake because no one ever came out to talk to them, and they kept it up for 3-4 hours. I hope they aren't there this weekend!

Went on 8/25 and caught 2 small cats and a carp. Maybe we'll try later in the year once it cools down a bit.

Where are you fishing what lake? If you fish the big lake with stumps in it, you need to fish on left side right in the stumps, drive around and park at the shelter and walk if you dont mind walking a bit that is and aobut 100yrds down and cast right out into the stumps. If you fish the hatchery lake behind bait house fish either far side or bait shop side just before the almost gone island. better from far side i think, ive caught some small shovels but there is some ral nice one in both lakes. My step dad hooked one yrs ago that he could not even stop from running his drag tehm like a dumby him thumbed the spool and paw there went the line.. BUt there are some real nice fish in there..
