I used to fish this lake a lot, but haven't for the past few years. I always had a lot of good luck there, but its a pretty far drive for me. I haven't been there for a while, but it was always a good lake.

I fish the lake all of the time, my dad has a camper up there. It is a good drive about 30 miles out on 32. They have some big blues and shovelheads and the owners are good people. The have tournaments every friday and saturday night and its a pretty good size lake about 4 acres.

I'm probably going to go out there and listen to the NFL draft this year. It used to be a tradition of mine but I haven't for the last few years because of my work schedule. I'll probably call off that day this year.

Surefoot, maybe I will meet you out there. Do you fish it much. For me its about an hour drive, but most of the time it is well worth it. The people who run the lake are real nice people. I usually fish with my dad or brothers. Let me know. I will call the lake and post the opening day on the website.

It used to be my home lake and I was there every weekend (they paid bounty and I usually fished for free or better). The people out there are really nice and I just love being out in the country there, very quiet. If you want to go some time earlier than that, cool with me. I want to fish this lake like I used to, it has always produced for me. Not sure where you live, but I'm about 5 minutes from Kings Island.

Surefoot, I live in northern KY. I will give Larry ( the owner ) a call and find out when the lake will be opening and I will let you know. I know they had put a lot of big fish in last year and the 50 over and 60 over was not busted, the jack pot should be close to $1600.00 . I will keep you posted.
