The bridge by the kemper exit on 27. Lost a 7 1/2 foot rod right off the bank, gave me no notice what so ever. Heard a noise looked over and my (well now his) pole was airborne for one second splash gone. Thats the one that got away. The Great Miami by the way.........

there are great fish to catch in the rivers. cant wait till dad gets the boat out and start catchin them river cats.

the river was a lil swift still saturday night but i whent out with about 40 bluegill and caught 15 and missed ALOT of them. best ive done in a while gonna be fishing againnext weekend.

Its looking good for the river this year... I stopped be the new dam in hamilton yesterday and watched a guy catch a 27 shovel 13 shovel and a 10 channel in only about an hour he was using shad heads... He said he caught a 35 monday night.....

went out yesterday for a few hours me and butlerhog caught 24 shovels biggest 36.7 water is still muddy and up a little but it did not stop the fish from biting

the new d**n its in hamilton river road is the name i think its in front of miami university hamilton campus theres a parking lot to park the walk down to the d**n you can fish off the wall or down below the water is not very deep and there are alot of rocks down there you get snaged alot i dont fis dow there anymore i put my 12ft jonboat in and find holes and burn them up ive found 30 foot holes in the river and man do the shovels pack in the holes at times you can only use 1 pole they hit so fast

the old dam does have some big fish but there far and few between its hard o fish it unless you want to wade in the water i havent fished it in a few years i heard there was a 50 caught out there this year fishing the river i would only use big bait to get away from the gar and channelcat and turtles bulegills big as your hand big shad suckers i like to go to places that noone else fishes because you catch fish alot of fish everytime

fish are feedin went under bridge on 128 for about 2 hours my old lady caught a small channel and my friend caught a 5 pound channel and was gettin hit like crazy

there's a good area in west carollton on hydraulic drive, its an old busted d**n and its deep and snaggy , have caught lots of fish outt there nice channels and shovelhead, certain parts are snag ridden others aren't , i've always used cut shad, in Miamisburg theres a lowhead d**n that we've caught lots of shovelhead out of too, nothing real big anywhere from 5-30lbs on fillets of shad
