I ways thinking of trying a river tonight if anyone wants to head out with me and another member send me a pm with your number and ill give you a call we live in miami county and dont really know of any places to go

i went and fished the gmr all weekend and got skunked...... it deffinately has not ben a good year for the river

Its bad when you cant go out fishing and have to worry about some idiot breaking into your cars. So much for good law enforcement. It aways seems to me that they dont care at all about fisherman at all these days

update on the miami starting in aug report s of 10 - 20 cats , middle of aug bigger cats , and the past week and half , 3 over 50 have been caught too. its goldfish bait and every fishermen is fishing non stop when they can fish, saying they dont know if its the heat or what but the miami river from miamisburg dam down is on fire with the big cats. thought u guys like to know, mostly med goldfish being used.
and there is a area on the rt 4 bridge park at the car wash that the Miami COnverscy has blocked off for the past few weeks too that creates a nice lake, i call it the new lake middletown that works lol anyway fish it with a float and on the other side they blocked off a large section where the river is no moving you can see the fish trapped , I have fishermen who are fishing it to set some free on the other side and then fish for the cats . Aces to them for saving the fish even if alot are carp lol

heading down to the dam today hope to bring home some big shovels we will be there about 5 it would be cool to some members down there

I don't ever fish it because its a homosexual hang out. Thats problay why windows are being broke. People think that the people fishing are gay guys back there having there way with one another!!! There is a lot of snags back there anyway. |

were are some good holes form middletown to miamisbrug that u can hit from the banks i want to try to fish alot of holes to know the river

Mike an I went out tonight, caught 4 total. 3 channels 1 shovel. One of the channels was a monster. I will post the pics of the big channel and the shovel.
