seeems like you know your river fishing. i always wanted to fish the ohio river but i dont have i boat, do you think that bank fishing for big catfish is productive or just a waist of time? thanks

i got some holes on the river where youll catch alot of fish..... when your on the river just stroll around lookin at the depths....if your in 20 ft of water and it drops to 30 and goes back around 20 ft fish right there in the dead middle of the hole and i guarantee youll catch decent fish its like that every where i fish in the river

we fish mostly out of tanners creek we look for several different things depth changes bait fish but we only fish where we are marking fish on the depth finder. i think the most important part is your depth finder if you dont have a good one your wasting your time

you can get fish from the bank its just harder becuse you dont know where the fish are and you cant move to find them

my buddy had a shad head but it was snagged that the only way to catch them i think they eat plankton

I would love to have a spoonbill for my bass pond! One spoon will make a pond look like a swimming pool th ebest filter you can get!!

You can't keep them in Ohio. They are an endangered species here in Ohio and a few other states I believe. I know if you go more west they use big treble hooks to snag them and you can bowfish for them. They are caught for their caviar and supposedly taste really good. I caught one in the Deer Creek spillway 2 years ago, on 8 lb line. Was a blast to catch and a really cool fish.
