hi i am new to the site but any help would be very helpfull.
I built some realy good traps but i'am not shure how to set them or with what. there is a realy good creek by my house with lots of chubs. one web site suggested baiting them with salt do you all thank that will work if not what would be the best bait. that site also sad only leave them in the water for 15 to 30 min

I just bought a trap myself. Never use one before, always caught my chubs with hooks.

Same here dude lol. Worked good, but now I'm getting lazy. If i cant get bait with my trap then i guess I'm back to the old string and stick method.

I always catch my chubs on rod and reel. I use a little hook with worms or flies or tiny jigs.
Welcome to the site.
