I agree with josh. They arnt the greatest bait. Seems like catfish are used to them or something.

i have only tried them once and it was a cedar but that was in late november but i like to use bluegill for bait and izzys

if they suck for bait then why was u and randy always using them at cedartowards the end of the season and i seen u guys do pretty good some days

if they suck for bait then why was u and randy always using them at cedartowards the end of the season and i seen u guys do pretty good some days It's a lot of work and a loooong drive just to catch a couple dinks with it. Not sure I'll even use it this year, I like Izzy's, warmouth, chubs and leeches.

Josh is just a trouble maker, I myself have hardly any luck with skippies but anything that stinks that bad has to be decent but just like any bait they have their place and time. Mark caught a 19# on leftover sausage. Plus even going to get skips is more fun than sitting on the couch.

i havent had much luck with shipjack at paylakes but you cant find a better bait on the river shad and skipjack is all i use and tear them up . i think i use shad at paylakes more than skipjack and do better with it.

i like to use live bait but i have used cut bait a few times at the end of the season but have never done any good with it at paylakes i used gill heads in the river and at lakes around here and i have caught a few 10 pound channel cats
