There was another thread but it got buried. I've recently switched to Owner 4/0 Octopus, and I love them. I think they are superior to Gamakatsu.

5/0 or 6/0 circle hooks when u use a big bull or large bait u need a bigger hook to let the hook be exposed

at WAL~MART theres some bass 1/0 hooks that look just like whisker stickers hooks for just 67 cents[$0.67}for 8 hooks they work great..double barbs stay in and it's hard to get them out... so don't get them in yourself

was using 8/0 and 7/0 gamakatsu octopus circle but had a problem with my bluegills staying on the hook so I moved down to a 5/0 6/0 set-up and they've been great

I use three types of hooks, Gamakatsu 6/0 Octopus Circle Hooks and Mustad 7904 Liver hooks. Both hooks I use with a treble trailor. I catch a third of my fish on trailor hooks. Anyone else use them?
Also At Traders World in Building 2 my fishing company sells packs of Gamakatsu Circle and Octopus Circles for 2.95 a pack. We also sell the mustad 7904 hooks for 5.59 a pack

Daiichi #2s , i used to use octupus until i tried these babies , i literally dont have to jerk to set the hook , i just pick the pole up and fish on.
