HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE LENGHT OF THE BAITRUNNER THAT YOU USE. OR DOES IT EVEN MATTER.. I TIGHTLINE FISH. ALWAYS ON THE BOTTOM.. AND WHAT IS BEST WEIGHTED OR UNWEIGHTED FLOATS, AND LENGHT OF FLOAT???

if your talking about leaders i use about 14 inches

i like the floats frm cedar lake the ones with the splashd on paint the longest ones are the best

i use my leaders just alittle bit shorter then my float, but however i will use them sometimes longer then my float, just depends on the mood i guess.. LOL and how quick of a hurry im in to get it on..

i make my leaders about 7-8 inch's long so it doesnt get tangled as easy

The best all around float is a 12incher that are already weighted.

i make my leaders 6 inches or so with a 12inch float

I don't use straws but when I did I cut them down to the same length as the float i was using.

I do the same as Randy said.I cut them to the length of my float.But I use a lot of live bait.I'am called the yellow belly guy at cp2. I alway have a tank full of them.If I only used cut bait or small bait I'd never use them. I think if your trolling heads or cut bait you just don't need them .
