The heat lately seems to have turned the fish into a frenzy. Fished last night for about an hour with a few fishing the place. I seemed to be in a personal slump with not a lot of time to fish. The hour I fished last night I was able to net 6 nice shovels all over 20 largest a 37. I guess if you can't catch you might as well net em!!

Had a few fishing tonite several shovels caught on goldfish, the bite is somewhat steady hope this incoming rain cools the water down so we can get into a frenzy bite going. Plan on treating the lake after the rain, with the rain and a good dose of salt the bite will be nuts next weekend!!

The winter feed is on here. Had a few this morning they caught several shovels and quite a few channels and 1 blue. Live and shad heads seemed to work.

I was able to bring in 2 blues today with a fresh shad gut pocket! The first was around 15# and the second 20# plus or minus a pound. I fished 15 feet deep and for about 45 minutes! If i can do this a few more times this year I may live untill spring LOL!
