Alsept, let me know when you plan on going. I don't know everything about the lake ,but I know enough to put us in position to catch some fish. The owners are really nice people. If you get up that way tell them that Chris Overpeck was talking about what a nice lake they have. They usually have a good supply of bait. And you can by live shad there, I belive that is the best bait to use. But to be honest you catch them on everything. My biggest there is 51.4 shovel head caught on a shinner. The lake is loaded with big fish and there is plenty of fishing room. Say when!

Fishing report 6/2 Headed out to Catman Blues bout 5pm Saturday night with my granpa. We wern't even there for 30 minutes, still settin up some stuff. Granpa's baitclicker was screamming! I set the hook because he was on way back from bathroom. He ran over and reeled her in, it was a nice 25 lb blue. I missed a nice run, its kinda hard to run over to pole since im in a boot cuz i sprained my ankle. But yea, around 1 my granpa was nodding off. I got up to check his baits and stuff, threw his about 5 feet from bank about 3-4ft deep. Not even 5 minutes his clicker was screaming again. It was on secret bait!!! ( yellow belly) It was a nice 30lb flatty. I got a little 10 pounder and there was quite a bit of people catching some fish. Was a good night overall! heres some pics, sorry so bad, was on my phone. they look small but like i said, camera phone isnt best lol

Hey Josh, I fished Friday night from 9:30 pm - 8:00 am. To get on the board in 4th place you needed a 47 pound fish. This lake is always producing big fish, week after week. I caught a 22 and 42 pound shovel head that night. The big one was on live izzy on the bottom, the other was on shad head with leech. The owners John and Triva are nice people, good owners. The run an honest lake. You notice the water level hasnt dropped even with the lack of rain? This is because the lake is spring feed and the have 3 bottom ariators and a bubbler on top. This keeps all those big fish healthy , when you do hook in to one you will know, they fight like a beast. I will be out this Friday if anyone is comming up, I will be in a green mini van. Peace, And FISH ON!
