I'll be making my first trip to catman blues, next wednesday, will be there around 7:30a.m......if anybodys going, stop by and say hello.....I'll be driving the black ford expedition......one thing guys are there any shade around the lake and can you drive up to your spot to fish.

Rainbow is in fairborn on 235. Just depends on were you are driving from. The south take 75 north to 675 north (columbus) then take the 235 exit about 17 mls or so.. just follow 235 and the lake will be on left. OR take 75 north to rt4 (springfield) follow rt4 to 235 and as soon as you get off 235 exit lake is on the right..

This post is for Kathy Newton I know that you posted your opinion last may, but PLEASE allow me to respond. My name is Alana Burns, and I am the daughter of Treva and John Burns (the owners of Catman Blues Fishing Lake) and I am here to tell you that your post was uncalled for, rude, and just plain ludacris. The fact that you would have the audacity to come onto a public site and talk about my family's finances is completly ridiculous..and probably the most offensive thing I have ever heard. My mother and father are probably two of the most honest, hard working people I have ever met in my life and I will stand behind them for anything. (I SHOULD REALLY KNOW..AFTERALL THEY RAISED ME KATHY) I HIGHLY doubt my mom told you that she 'threw' the books away, and how can you come back a year later and expect money from the YEAR BEFORE?! Here are the facts... people know how good our lake is, they know that my parents are good people, and they know that if they want a clean, good family-oriented FAIR lake, to come to Catman Blues, and I dont expect anymore posts bashing my family on here..I appreciate it..and please do be careful holding a sign in front of my home, people do tend to hill hop that hill from time to time  |

I have fished this lake alot and have never had any problems getting paid. it is my favorit lake the only thing that ive seen there is a good time and lots of fish ill be there as soon as they open this year. people who fish there always come back im sure that there is a perfectly good explination some were cant we all just get along.

John and Treva are by far the nicest people I have ever meet at any paylake. They run a good business, have plenty of fish and there is no funny business. The only thing you have to do is take care of thier fish, and all is well. I can't wait to get back up there. I am hoping they open in March this year. It will depend on the weather. I bring my boys with my every weekend that I go and have never had a problem. This will be my third year fishing the lake and I plan on many more.

srsly , i didnt even respond to her sayin that because i knew it was bullcrap ,and if u hit a jar and dont claim it at ANY paylake good luck showin up a year later and tryin to claim it lol , uguys dont need my opinion on catmanblues because im byast . And tell your mom i wont let my kids do any swimmin in the lake this year ...LOL!~

This message is to Treva, Treva I would like to say that I am very sorry for what I posted either a year or two years ago, not sure when it was as I was on alot of pain medication because I was very, very sick. I understand it was not your fault and I am very sorry for causing you any pain!!! I truly am sorry from the top to the bottom of my heart and I can understand if you do not want me to ever come there again, but I do want to appologize for what I said and did to you. I would also like to add to anyone looking and reading this I had a misunderstanding with Treva that I took out in public and should not have done. I would also like everyone to know that CATMAN BLUES IS BY FAR THE BEST LAKE TO CATCH BIG CATFISH THERE IS AROUND THE CINCINNATI AREA AND THAT IS THE GOD'S HONEST TRUTH!!!! Treva I can understand if you can not forgive me, but please know at that time I really didn't know what I was doing if I personally called you and told you all the medication I was on you would not believe that I could even walk or type or even talk for that matter and I had also just had surgery so I was on medication for that also. So if you read this could you please reply to me at Knewton5@aol.com and let me know at least that you read it. And please don't take it out on my son, he had nothing to do with what I wrote and either did my husband they actually knew nothing about it. I wrote it at approximately 3 in the morning because I went through periods of not sleeping for 3 to 4 days in a row, which is also what was messing with my mind. Treva I am truly sorry for everything and anything that I have caused you and your family. So please anyone that reads this FISH AT CATMAN BLUES AND YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!!! YOU ARE PRETTY MUCH GUARANTEED TO CATCH A FISH THERE EVERYTIME YOU FISH AND IT WILL PROBABLY BE A BIG FISH BECAUSE TREVA AND HER HUSBAND PUT NOTHING BUT BIG FISH IN THEIR LAKE AND THEY TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF THEIR LAKE, THEY LOVE THEIR LAKE AND I AM VERY SORRY THAT I TRASHED IT BY SAYING WHAT I DID WHEN I WAS ON MY PAIN MEDICATION. TREVA I PROMISE YOU I WILL NEVER POST ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR LAKE AGAIN ONLY THE GOOD THINGS THAT I REMEMBER ABOUT IT, WHICH ARE BASICALLY ALL GOOD!!! LIKE I SAID MY MEDICATION DID MESS UP MY MIND I WAS ON SOME VERY HIGH NARCOTICS AND ALSO ON MORPHINE SO PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGY FOR EVERYTHING THAT I SAID, I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHY I SAID IT OR EVEN DID IT BECAUSE I REALLY DO LIKE YOU AS A PERSON. I THINK YOU ARE ONE OF THE SWEETEST PERSONS I'VE MET IN A LONG TIME AT A PAY LAKE AND TRULY CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE THAT COME TO YOUR LAKE. REMEMBER I EVEN TOOK PICTURES AS YOU WERE BUILDING YOUR HOUSE AND SENT THEM TO YOU. SO PLEASE ACCEPT MY APPOLOGIES AND IF YOU DON'T THAN I CAN UNDERSTAND AND IT IS ALL MY FAULT AND I BLAME MYSELF ALREADY OVER THIS. I HAVE ACTUALLY CRIED OVER THIS BECAUSE I LOVED FISHING AT YOUR LAKE, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT FISHED SINCE I LAST FISHED AT YOUR LAKE BECAUSE I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO AS I AM IN TERRIBLE SHAPE AND CAN'T REALLY GET AROUND ANYMORE. IN FACT I COULD BE POSSIBLY BE HAVING TO USE A WHEELCHAIR VERY SOON, WHICH HURTS ME BECAUSE AS A FEMALE I TRULY LOVE TO FISH.
