i used to fish this lake alot.i thought about trying to get it but i dont have the money ..i would suggest just clean the lake up and put all the rest of your time into getting ALOT of fish..this lake has good potential and there are some big ones in there but for it to be a top tier pay laake i would say put about 20 to 30 thousand pounds in therewith 8 acres sometimes you catch fish sometimes you dont.. Oh yea one more thing dont forget to treat the algae or this lake will be covered in it by the end of summer..good luck ill stop out and fish in the next couple of weeks 8 acres------did not think that lake was that big...but it was 30years ago..the 1 time i was there..it looked more like a land fill then a fishing lake...

sounds like they have what to be the right idea and getting the place strighten out and cleaned up. I hope they do i hate to see lakes go to waist. I used to fish a lake that a guy that ran a head stone factory and he bought out a old paylake out in preble county area and all he did was have lime hawled in and filled the back (big) lake with it, there was some BIG fish it that lake. i fished it for 15 yrs and always caught fish. Hate to good water go to waste like that.

there is some hawgs in here alot of natural springs running into this lake you oughtta look into the moss issue i can rememner the old owners dragging the lake and pulling out thousands of lbs of moss.around halfway through the year. ive caught quite a few fish here years ago i know pretty much all the spots i would fish this lake on bottom in the middle of the lake its probably 50 to 80 feet deep .new owners let me know what the deepest spot is that you find if you have a depth finder and a johnboat ... if not got one for sale johnboat that is.

went to lake remington sat fishing for channels (light spinning reels & rods). about 2:00pm my little crappie bobber went under. the line just peeled off. could not stop the fish. 30 minutes of "tug-of-war" later landed a 49.4 lb shovel. what a beast. oh how lucky on light spinning gear!!. thx to the fishermen who helped with the net, taking the fish to the bait house, etc. met one of the new owners jeff - --thx you jeff for the great fishing, free hot dogs, and free nightcrawlers. what a day to remember!!
