Just wanna say thanks to all that came this weekend. We doubled what we thought we'd do. Some nice fish were caught including channelcats 49lb shovel on LIGHT SPINNING GEAR!!!!! This guy is a pro to pull that cat in on that light of gear. Glad you had a great time. We will find your dad a good spot bustnjackpots. Let me know when you get there and we'll clear out a good spot, the lake is very accessable to all. Thanks again everyone and seeya at the lake.....jeff

the new owners have done a lot of work. the road around the entire lake is clear - you can drive right to your spot. numerous level spots to fish and spread out - a benefit of a big lake ( no need to "fight for just 5 spots" to catch fish). caught the 49 lb shovel 15 feet from the bank! will return many times. highly recommend it. told my wife we should spend Mothers Day at lake remington (hey you can't blame a guy for trying!).

Went there last night, this place sucks. I caught three, four pound chanels must have been what they stocked.plus there was some not a very nice person on a four wheeler blazin up paths, and there rules in there bait shop says no pets but I kept hearing peoples animals. It's real hard to catch fish with that much disturbance. Place has not changed in five years! Everytime I reeled my pole in nothin but moss!

Sorry you had a bad nite fishing, dummy. Even tho your only a nitecrawler, I want everyone to be happy. Several 20 pounders were caught but nothing real big. We did bend the rules on animals for customers that didnt know and there were alot of kids playing and camping with thier parents. If we lose a few die hard fisherman because of it , then so be it. We want to cater to the families that like to camp and fish togather and the regulars that come to the lake. We have alot of room. We had a great crowd sat. nite. Alot of friendly people. My partner was on the quad because we didnt want to tear up the back road of the lake, certainly not blazin. As far as the moss goes we treated it twice already and for only having the lake a total of 3 weeks its not near as bad as it was. Again, sorry you had a bad time, maybe this lake isnt for you as I had nothing but compliments all nite.

mr bigdummy.....the fishing was a little slow due to the cold front....plenty of room to spread out....many spots next to bushes, points, etc were you can have a "private spot"...the road on the back side can get muddy given we have had so much rain.....famlies camping and fishing together is awesome....it would be nice if more kids turned off the TV, iPod, computers, Xbox, etc. and got off their lazy butts and went fishing and hunting with dad / mom.

i agree, my boys love to go fishing, wish i could get my wife and step daughtor out and go, but thats cool they just go shopping. LOL I dont think you have the right to come on here and say that a lake sucks when the owners just had got it 3 wks. ago and ARE trying alittle at a time to get a nice place straighted out. it takes TIME, cant get it all taken care of in one day. AND as far as the moss goes, well i personally have not been there, but it does take a while to get it under control. So give it time and they will have that place looking and being a great place to fish/camp ect.
